Suburbia Develops Multi-Channel Earth Day Promotion
24 April 2008VICTORIA, BC – Suburbia Advertising is pleased to that it has implemented a ground-breaking, multi-channel Earth Day campaign for Planet Organic Market.
The program, which was launched at the beginning of April, was developed to encourage consumers to take earth friendly habits beyond the April 22nd Earth Day and all the hype that comes with it. The creative strategy could be summarized in the company’s April headline of “Live everyday like Earth Day” which was featured in print ads, the website, e-newsletter and flyers. An online component invited consumers to submit their tips on how to live every day like Earth Day. The response has been overwhelming.
The company also announced its sponsorship of two Canadian athletes, Matt Hill & Stephanie Tait, and their Run for One Planet initiative (www.runforoneplanet.com) at the beginning of April. The pair will run over 10,000 miles around North America and spread the message of environmental responsibility by inspiring a goal of 1 million environmental actions. Planet Organic will be welcoming them into several of its stores during their run across Canada and providing them with healthy organic food to fuel their journey.
