Virginia Boggie Selected As Judge For ICSC Canadian Shopping Centre Awards
18 April 2008VANCOUVER, BC – Suburbia Advertising is pleased to announce that Partner and Director of Client Services, Virginia Boggie, has been selected as a Judge at the 2008 ICSC Canadian Shopping Centre Awards.
The Awards are designed to honour the industry’s brightest talent when it comes to developing and implementing a range of effective marketing communications. Virginia will be judging marketing materials and programs from Canadian shopping centres ranging in size from 150,000 to over a million square feet in the areas of community relations, public relations, advertising, sales promotion, grand openings, and business to business communications. Judging criteria are strict and include strategy, creativity, cost effectiveness, tactics and results.

The ICSC Canadian Shopping Centre Awards will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on October 29, 2008. This year’s awards theme, “The Influence of Social Networking,” brings attention to new mediums such as blogs, forums, media sharing, and webfeeds. “It’s an exciting time for shopping centres,” says Virginia. “There are more challenges and opportunities than ever before, and these new mediums and other online strategies are presenting exciting new ways for our clients to strengthen their brands and increase sales.”
